市場民調顧問公司尼爾森(Nielsen)20日表示，19日舉行的美國總統大選電視辯論會第三回合，估計吸引了7,160萬人收看，雖然人數不如首場，但仍是有記錄以來收視人口第三高的舌戰。
路透社報導，尼爾森彙整的數據包括透過全美13個有線電視和廣播網路、以及公共電視網(PBS)收看這場激烈交鋒辯論的人。
民主黨總統候選人希拉蕊．柯林頓(Hillary Clinton)和對手川普(Donald Trump)，在9月26日晚上進行的首場美國總統大選辯論，吸引了8,400萬人收看，創下有史以來美國總統大選辯論會的最高收視紀錄。
至於收看10月9日第二場辯論的人數則有6,650萬人。
而19日的收視人口雖然不如首場，但仍創下尼爾森自1976年開始調查總統辯論收視率以來的第三高。卡特(Jimmy Carter)和雷根(Ronald Reagan)在1980年總統大選辯論，曾創下8,060萬人觀看紀錄。
